Rebecca H.

Private tutor in Ballarat, Australia

Education

I completed my Victorian Certificate of Education in 2013. I then attended University College, University of Melbourne, on a Margret Garcon Medicine Scholarship, where I earned my Bachelor of Biomedicine with a WAM: 83.00 (H1). I am currently studying Doctor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne.

Experience

I am an experienced tutor, passionate about helping people learn and acquire new skills. My subject expertise includes biology, cell biology, molecular biology, evolutionary biology, chemistry, biochemistry, statistics, and trigonometry. I tailor each session to the student's individual needs, factoring in their learning style and knowledge. Beginning with what they know, I focus on their weaknesses and continue building from foundational concepts. I use a great deal of practice and problem solving to help my students improve their math and science skills. I can approach a problem from different angles and use different examples to help you relate the material to the real world.
